Hi once again!

Here is the order of interview for

Thursday (29/7, 3.15pm): Cellobass, Sheng, Suona
Friday (30/7, 2.30pm): YQP, Xianyue

Venue of interview:
Strings Room (m4-04)

PLEASE NOTE: There will be DSA auditions held in m4-01. Please make sure you are on your best conduct :D Don't scare potential juniors away! :O :O

Procedure
1) First 3 people report outside interview room at 5 - 10 minutes before the start of interview. DO NOT BE LATE! :)
(in the case of tmr's interview, first 3 to report at 3.10pm)

2) After first person is interviewed, she can leave :)

*NOTE: One person will be given approx. 10 minutes per interview. So 4th person/ 5th person etc etc please try to report early and wait patiently outside the interview :)

How to prepare (for the nervous/clueless)
Think about...
1) What post you may be interested in
2) Why you are suitable for that post
3) How you want to contribute to NYCO as a committee member
4) What are your vision of NYCO 2011?
Just be your usual (good) self and speak calmly :D

Hi NYCO! Concert's over and now the Sec 4s are going to step down and a new committee is going to lead NYCO! :) *nostalgic* BUT STILL.. AREN'T YOU EXCITED?? ^^

The list of nominees for '10 - '11 committee is out! Interviews will begin tomorrow 27 July (Tues) (your SLs should have informed you this morning ;P).

Tuesday (27/7, 3.30pm): Dizi, Pipa, Ruanliu
Thursday (29/7, 3.15pm): Cellobass, Sheng, Suona
Friday (30/7, 2.45pm): YQP, Xianyue

hi nyco.
thank you all of you.
thank you for putting your best on stage.
thank you for the laughters.
thank you for the smiles.
thank you for the tears.
best of all...
thank you for letting me hear the music we all
PLAYED FROM HEART.
it is all over.
when i was playing jiang jun ling,
memories/pictures of
nyco practicing,
nyco having fun,
nyco talk,
seniors,
juniors,
batchmates.
all the good and bad times we had.
all these lead to the last note
which marked the end of our successful concert
last night.
i am bad at words.
but i really want to thank all of you.
thank you for producing such a GREAT CONCERT.
until my friend who watched almost all nanyang concerts this year tell me.
'huilin. this is the best nanyang music concert.'
and friends coming to me and telling me the concert was so perfect
and WONDERFUL.
thank you.
you all are so special to me.
no matter which chinese orchestra i go in future.
i will never be able to find another nyco.
the tears from all of you are special too.
you all let me know that.
i am not the only who is sad that yesterday was my last performance with nyco.
i also can't explain.
with all my makeups on my face,
i keep telling myself not to cry.
but at the start of the performance,
when i hugged jessy and we said
'concert starting...and is ending soon...'
we started to cry.
when concert end..
i hear the crowd's applause,
i felt like crying...
and i saw denise cry.
at the backstage,
i cried again.
i just cannot believe that i am leaving nyco.
for these 4 years, nyco is what i have been looking for each week. although there are tons of homework, but because of nyco, i am able to move on.
forgetting all the pain,
even though my finger is totally peeled until it is so painful,
i never stop practicing, and i really don't feel the pain.
esp. last night. it's all because of
NYCO.
nyco concert'2008, syf'2009
and now,
nyco concert 2010.
all are precious to me.

hi nyco.
huilin here again. ^^
today we had a important talk right?
i am sure nyco get to understand each other better now right?
actually, we are trying to tell ALL OF YOU that
WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME BOAT.
when you are tired,
everyone is tired too.
when you are working hard,
everyone is working hard too.
when you are listening,
everyone is listening too.
when you are on stage,
everyone is on stage too.

yes. these 15 days we are all going to be busy.
very busy.
super busy.
always keep in mind,
if you don't put in your best in these upcoming 15 days,
you don't have a second chance.
esp to seniors (sec3s and 4s)
i am sure you all don't want any regrets.

when i am tired,
there are my batchmates pushing me forward.
when i am tired,
there are my juniors pushing me forward.
when i am tired,
there is nyco pushing me forward.
when i am tired,
it is the passion for nyco that i have deep in my heart pushing me forward.
i am sure all of us have the passion for nyco.
play music with this passion from your heart.
treasure these 15 days.
and we are all going to push our nyco concert to a HUGE SUCCESS!
